Word Search Final Checklist
Complete this checklist to be sure you have completed all requirements for the word search project. And, once you've finished, congratulations! You've just complete a very difficult, college-level research project! Do something nice for yourself and feel proud.
- Final Paper
- Paper is typed in 11 or 12 pt. Times New Roman (or similar) font.
- Paper is double-spaced.
- Paper has all appropriate heading info.
- Paper has an intriguing title.
- Margins of paper are 1 inch left and right, top and bottom.
- Name and page number are typed at the top right hand corner of each page.
- All required sources are included in the final paper.
- Paper has all citations in appropriate places.
- Paper includes a Works Cited page, titled as such and paginated successively with the paper.
- Works Cited page is double-spaced and entries are in alpha order.
- Indentations for Works Cited Page are correct and consistent. (First line of each entry is flush with the margin; all succeeding lines in each entry are indented one tab.)
- All entries conform to MLA handbook standard.
- Final Packet (in a folder)
- On the left side of the folder is the essay, stapled firmly with Word Search Rubric on top (but not stapled to paper).
- Has your name and word written at the top of the rubric.
- Includes all required documents (see checklist on home page).
- All research information is organized clearly and neatly (be nice and put it in the order listed on the rubric) so that Ms. Baulch does not pull her hair out reading it.
- Some effort to entertain Ms. Baulch (school appropriate of course) has been made at some point in your paper or folder. No gifts/bribes, please! Just make me smile while I'm reading your paper.
